What is included?
Every X-Shot system includes all components needed to get a system up and running:
- High Speed Camera with Protective Housing

- Cables and mounting hardware
What is required to run X-Shot?
Each system requires access to a standard 120V power outlet and wifi for automatic software updates. Wifi is not required for everyday use.
At what distances does X-Shot work?
X-Shot will work at any calibrated distance from 3-30 yards. X-Shot MR-100 will work at up to 100 yards.
Will X-Shot work with any firearm?
Yes, X-Shot works by detecting new holes on a paper target. Any live-fire round can be used.
Will X-Shot work at any existing or new range?
Yes, X-Shot was designed to work at any indoor shooting range.
Does X-Shot use a projector?
No, X-Shot uses familiar paper targets. The system will only work with specific targets which can be sold at a premium to customers who use the system. The size of each Targetscope paper target is 18″ x 24″.
How does X-Shot install?
The camera is mounted to a fixed bar under the shooting bench which is capable of pivoting out of the way to allow access down range. The display screen sits on an adjustable arm mounted to the shooting stall wall. The PC housing may be mounted to the shooting stall, in the ceiling, or on the camera bar depending on preference.
What is included with the initial calibration and training support?
When an X-Shot system is installed for the first time, a Targetscope rep works remotely with your range to assist in the initial calibration. This process takes approximately 30 minutes per lane.
How often does the system need to be calibrated?
Each system requires a single initial calibration during installation. After this, the system will not need to be re-calibrated unless the lighting in the range changes significantly.
Are software updates included with the system purchase?
Yes, all software updates are sent wirelessly to each X-Shot system when available. Software updates include additional training programs, games, and other additional features.
Is a warranty and training included with purchase?
Yes, each system comes with a one-year warranty for hardware defects or failures. Comprehensive instructions and training videos are included with every purchase and a Targetscope rep is available for support and training.
